Do you find it is always becoming harder to keep things tidy and ordered…Well, you’re not alone. I feel this every day. But there COULD be a reason… Turns out the Universe is making things harder. It’s inevitable.
2nd law of thermodynamics tells us the Universe is always increasing in entropy (going from order to chaos). And since we are part of the universe and cannot be truly removed from it, we are being subjected to the same forces of entropy and so the universe is driving us towards chaos.
But there is a lot of disagreement as to why… I’d like to submit, based on over 40 years of objective observation, that perhaps the MAIN cause of the universe heading towards increased entropy is children. One just has to look at the LEGO parts box after they have finished with it, or just the general state of the house … to see what I mean. I mean all that entropy has to go somewhere right! Now don’t get me wrong. I will still do my utmost to keep things ordered and neat and tidy but now I don’t feel so bad.
This is my second biggest theory of science alongside my theory that the ocean would freshwater if it weren’t for anchovies.
